Terms of sale

The terms that apply when you buy a fixed-price check, the notice pack or a licence from Construction Cloud.

1. Who we are

Construction Cloud is run by Mill Court Consultants Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 07059456. Registered office: 3 Old Mill Court, Whiphill Top Lane, Branton, Doncaster DN3 3NU. Email: ask@mill-court.com. In these terms, “we” means Mill Court Consultants Limited and “you” means the person or business buying.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown on the page for each product and include any VAT payable. You pay in full by card when you order. Payments are taken by Stripe; we never see your card details. The contract is made when your payment goes through.

3. Fixed-price checks

Each check covers the scope described on its page, for one notice, contract or dispute. We work only from the documents and information you send, and we rely on them being complete and accurate. The turnaround is counted in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays in England) from when we have everything we need. Before starting, we check that we are not acting for anyone else involved; if we are, or if we cannot take on the check for another reason, we refund you in full.

A check is expert commercial and contractual advice from a construction claims consultant. It is not advice from a solicitor, and we do not represent you in proceedings. Our review is for you only and may not be relied on by anyone else. If you need more work than the check covers, we will quote a fixed fee first and will not start without your agreement.

4. The notice pack

When you buy the notice pack, we give you a licence to use and adapt the templates for your own business’s contracts. You may not resell them, share them with other businesses or publish them. The templates and guidance are general and are not advice on your particular contract.

5. Licences for organisations

Licences to put the calculators on another website are agreed separately in writing, and that agreement will set out the fee, term and what is included.

6. If you are a consumer: your right to cancel

If you buy as a consumer (not for your business), you normally have 14 days to cancel. For the notice pack, you agree when you buy that the download is made available straight away, and that you lose the right to cancel once you download it. For a check, if you ask us to start within the 14 days, you agree to pay for work done before you cancel, and you lose the right to cancel once the check is complete. To cancel, email ask@mill-court.com.

7. Our liability

We will use reasonable skill and care. If you buy for your business, our total liability for any product is limited to the price you paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

8. Complaints

If something is not right, email ask@mill-court.com and we will reply within 5 working days.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
